Join us in taking the first step towards training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples
Are you skilled in relationship therapy but seeking a fresh approach to improve your success with couples? If so, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an effective solution.
Transform how you work with Couples and earn 30 CPD hours at this 4-day intensive training. The Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Externship, developed by Dr Susan Johnson, is an immersion into the science and power of attachment, emotion and relatedness that can transform how you understand couples in distress and change how you work with families and individuals. This experiential and didactic training will assist your success in your clinical practice and strengthen relationships in your own life.
This is an official EFT Externship, endorsed by the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT)
Pioneered by Dr. Susan Johnson, EFT for couples is a rigorously researched therapy based on the science of adult love and attachment. It gives the therapist a clear guide through the confusing drama of relational conflict and distress in couples, families, and individuals. The EFT change process is mapped into a systematic sequence and framework that restructures interactional patterns, bringing about positive relationship change.
This structure reliably provides a safe and effective path for long term relational healing. EFT is widely used and is becoming very popular worldwide.
Ireland’s EFT Community is a gathering and network of therapists who recognise the value of like-minded support from one another in the challenging task of working with couples and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Join our community of therapists and avail yourself of the dynamic and effective EFT Externship Training®, which is suitable for professional therapists and counsellors who are new to couples therapy and also for those who are experienced in this field.
